On April 19, 2011 the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved the contract for a new fire station located at the intersection of Nokes Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard in the Kincora development, Dulles Election District, Loudoun County, Virginia. The Kincora development team has hired TRITEC Building Company, Inc. and Turner Construction to lead a design build team comprised of Pollēo Group, LeMay Erickson Willcox Architects, Urban Ltd., Haynes Whaley Associates, and KTA Group.
The four bay fire station will be located on approximately five acres at the entrance to the Kincora mixed-use development. The building will include apparatus bays as well as shared spaces for operations, community room, fitness and residential areas. The building is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2013 and will consist of approximately 17,500 gross square feet and be planned for a future expansion to five apparatus bays.
